Project Description:

This project provides administrative and member care support to career missionaries serving with LCMS World Mission. The project funds quarterly staff meetings and the annual spiritual life retreat in order to promote successful planning, evaluation and implementation of the field’s Balanced Focus Plan, fellowship, team building and member care among Guinea missionaries. The administrator will run the business office out of his/her home to cut down on expenses but there will still be other expenses such as photocopies, office supplies, office equipment, bank charges, postage and courier (e.g.DHL) fees and other miscellaneous expenses. In addition, local office help is often hired to facilitate the work of running a mission business in the country. The project will also promote communication between remote mission stations and local residences through funding of five radio licenses.

 

Foundation Description:

Objectives that have been met or are in the process of being met:

·   To help cover expenses for one staff meeting in February 2006.

·   To meet the expenses related to the Guinea Mission’s 2006 Spiritual Life Retreat.

·   To fund the administrator’s business office expenses during FY 2006-07.
