Project Description:

This project is the guts of everything we do here in Guinea. There are about 125 churches and preaching points gathered around about 24 Market centers where leaders meet each week for training by a market center leader. These centers are divided into four regions, and the regions hold regular training events for their market center leaders.

In addition Seminary-trained regional leaders hold special classes for selected leaders who we hope may someday be able to attend our French-speaking Seminary in Togo. They teach more advanced theology and French, which is a weakness that can keep many of our men from being able to go to the Seminary. We also are in the early stages of working out a Theological Education by Extension program here, and money from this project will help with unforeseen expenses arising from this program.

Each Market center trainer gets about $5 a month. This is nowhere near a salary, but is just an encouragement and a Thank you for his work, and it really helps them. That would be $30 for a year. Each region gets a certain amount once every two months to carry on their activities. The amount varies depending on the size of the Region, but it averages about $80 every other month. or $480 per year. This amount helps with Training, transportation, some food, help money for the market leaders, and evangelism events. $80.00 is also the average amount used every two months for each of the two Seminary Prep classes. Some books, Bibles and supplies are also bought with this money.

Books average about $10.00 each. We will also be printing some materials this year that could cost over $1,000
